Challenge 2: Longest Coin Line

The longest line of coins measured is 75.24kms and was made by pupils, parents, teachers and volunteers from a school in Australia. We can’t wait to see what you can do! This option is also a great way to fundraise for your Company!

In the weeks leading up to your event, collect as many coins as you can from family, friends, your lounge chair, under car seats, your dad’s pockets, the bottom of your mum’s handbag.

On the night of your event, lay out the coins in a line. You might need to go up and down your hall, or around in spirals. It may help to lay down masking tape first to give a line to guide you. You will need lots of helpers to assist. You may like to mark our metre lengths of masking tape to help count the distance.

Measure the length of your line and submit your total, along with video and photos. Don’t forget to take a group photo of your evening.
